2023 Calendar - Beyond the Sea

Making its debut this year is "Beyond the Sea" -  a collection of fantastic pelagic sea birds.
 
Come with me on an adventure to the edge of the continental shelf where albatross soar effortlessly and tiny prions appear to tap dance on top of the glistening water.  Albatrosses are big, majestic birds that can be found soaring above most of the world’s oceans, some having wingspans of up to 11 feet (3.4 metres).  An albatross can go a year or more without setting foot on land.  
 
Featured this year are:     Campbell Albatross, Wandering Albatross, White-headed Petrel, Shy Albatross, Fairy Prion, Buller's Albatross, White-chinned Petrel, Northern Giant Petrel, Wilson's Storm Petrel, Indian Yellow-nosed Albatross, White-faced Storm Petrel, Short-tailed Shearwater.
